According to the manual:
The sequencer speed depends on the host tempo. The speed slider gives additional control
over the speed, for instance, if the host tempo is 120 bpm, the sequencer will play at:
· 30 bpm if the speed slider value is 0
· 60 bpm if the speed slider value is 50
· 120 bpm if the speed slider value is 75
· 240 bpm if the speed slider value is 100
So it would appear that a slilder of 75 would produce the same BPM in the sequencer as in the host. I have tried it and it seems to work.

Thanks for your reply, Smoddelm.
For Tick: I don't think this is very intuitive --- why not just indicate host/R2 tempo relation in the GUI, like 0 = 4/1, 60 = 2/1, 75 = 1/1, etc.?
