This is probably a stupid question but I'm trying to record a screencast demo and narrate the demo with a mic recording audio...however it seems tricky with Live having to arm the other tracks and then of course I also cannot start/stop the timeline if I want to play a clip...
Is there a way to independently record audio in Live whilst demoing a synth (playing midi clips start/stop)?

It's been awhile since I've done this so I don't remember the exact steps but it goes something to the effect of creating a new audio track and then select resampling from the input list. That will record everything from the master out. The only problem is when you hit the main stop button it stops the resampling recording as well, but you can still use the stop buttons for individual clips/tracks.
