I have an ipad mini 4 with lemur loaded on it. I wanted to use it as a midi controller to control CC/notes in my DAW (on a windows10 systetm)

I bought a bluetooth USB for the desktop, and it did not sync up. I was able to sync the ipad with itunes ok with a cable. possible to control my desktop wirelessly?

Any good guides for this sort of thing?
Im kind of stumbling around in the dark.
I watched some youtube vids, but didnt find anything helpful.

but i am still un able to connect to my DAW (ableton, energyxt)

If your pc is connected to a network router or has wifi you can connect with the Lemur app.
If conneted to a router the pc can be wifi or connected with a cable.
