I've thought about this, but haven't done it. I want to know if anyone's tried this, and if it works.

Jack in an acoustic/elec guitar (I have a Takamina EAN-10C)into the Triton's input jack. Use the Triton's built-in effects to process the guitar, then record the guitar track in your host.

Or

Jack the acoustic/elec guitar directly into the soundcard and use VST effects to process it to make it sound like an electric guitar. Is that possible? Or it's impossible to get it to sound like an electric because acoustic guitars don't have the same kind of pickups?

So I guess there are actually 3 quesions:

1)Can the acoustic/elec guitar actually go through the Triton's input and reach the soundcard's input?

2)Can the Triton be used as an effects processor for the guitar?

3)Can acoustic/elec guitar be processed to sound like an electric guitar?
