Turning off palm muting (velocity? wut?)

I have AME and I can't grasp the rhyme or reason why it palm mutes certain notes versus others. Right now I just want it to not palm mute anything. The manual says the "velocity" has to be a certain number for notes to be sustained, but what does that mean? I don't see any knob anywhere that says "velocity." I am just trying to use AME with LMMS to play a midi track in which none of the notes are palm muted.

Nevermind. I figured it out. It's something you adjust on LMMS's track setting menu.
