I upgraded recently and now all my images fail the 'check image' test. Support from Acronis has been fairly useless so far - it seems that they barely speak english and rather than get the 48hour response that they promise it took 6 days for a reply that seemed oblivious to my stated problem.
Anyone else having problems with the latest version of TI7?
Perhaps I should have gone for Powerquest Drive Image instead.

I tried switching from Disk Image to True Image and I could not get True image to work at all...
Well, a bit
I had all sorts of problems. It would not let me re-image to the correct drive etc. I gave up and went back to Disk Image...

I use TrueImage 7 and would wholeheartedly recommend it as a comprehensive backup and disk migration utility.

I'm baffled by what could be causing the problem but I have the same behaviour on both bootups (2K and XP) and wherever I try to image the drive to - it doesn't seem limited to any particular circumstance. It's a shame because I really like the layout of the software (that's why I bought it).
Rather than try to troubleshoot the problem, Acronis tech support have just offered a refund (?!), so it looks like there's no way that I can continue to use this software.

Yeah, I tried again with the bootable cd and it appears to work as it should. It's a bit of a pain to always have to do this though. Acronis gave me the option of having another app whilst keeping True Image, instead of a refund, so that's pretty good customer care IMO.

I have power quests deploy center(drive image is part of this suite)- and assist with building the standard image at my company. Power quest is the best I have tried
