Sequencer & Tracker problem

Hi guys,

Heres my problem.
Years ago I used Octamed, then moved to Fruityloops, then onto Orion Platinum. The problem I have is I want to use Octamed with Orion (not sure of this is possible) or have a similar setup (maybe some other tracker program that can be used with Orion - rewire style)

If anyone has any advice, or has a similar setup I would be grateful for any help.

I was thinking of doing something similar. The only tracker I know that supports rewire is MadTracker (the demo/shareware won't let you try it's rewire capabilities, though). I am aware of no popular tracker that will work as a VSTi, however this is a VSTi-only tracker called "VSTRACK", or something similar to that. Although development is a bit slow (it's a side thing for the developers), Renoise may gain rewire and/or VSTi capabilities at some point. Skale will probably get these features as well, but it's still not there yet. Psycle is a mystery to me.

Anything else, and I believe your only option is to use plain old MIDI controls. Pretend your tracker is a drum machine hooked up to your sequencer, or vice versa, if the tracker only sends commands.

I have yet to try it, though...
