MOTU i/o 24

Any users out there that are experiencing the following problems?
1. If you boot you PC and let the pc run without powering up the rack mount i/o interface for any lenght of time - 30 minutes or more then the drivers can not be found by the interface and you have no audio. The only solution I have found to to turn off the pc and the interface. Let the pc set for at the very least 60 minutes then reboot with the interface turned on.
2. The software drivers get unstable with you do any os update for ms.
I have spoken to MOTU tech persons and have gotten no where.
This driver problem is minor if you can afford to have your clinet postpone the recording session for 60 minutes ever time the problem pops up. There must be a solution.
