Heavyocity is back with another stand-alone Novo Pack: Rhythmic Textures. This time the developer focuses on great sounding string performances and delivers it with all the power of the Novo engine at your fingertips.

I really love it
But it needs alot tweaking to get what i want....but the good thing is the engine is great and very great to customize sounds.
So far this is even my favorite Heavyocity product.
Just fits my flavor!

The requirements mention just the Kontakt (or player).Cinebient wrote:I really love it![]()

So, you don´t need the Novo itself, to play the Novo packs?
What type/genre of music you create/produce?
(Your user refers to the film music)

I´m not bound to a specific genre really but yes i like mostly doing some kind of ambient/cinematic crossover thingie.Harry_HH wrote:What type/genre of music you create/produce?Cinebient wrote:I really love it![]()

But i also like to do electronic and electronica stuff....even EDM sometimes
I´m just a bloody amateur and anyway make no money (or will ever) with music but that alone let me have no rules to follow and a thing like NOVO-RT fits well for me in the cinematic stuff as well as in the electronic genres for some hybrid flavor.
I hope i can get a demo together this weekend so it´s mostly just more easy to say something in music for me rather to try to explain in my bad english.
I even like this more than Spitfire HZS (but it´s mainly for another task anyway).
I must say it can have these scratchy and harsh nature on higher dynamics and i find a lot presets too much synth like but once you dive in i find some great gems and wonderful articulations i havn´t covered yet. I even love this for some wonderful soft, intimate and emotive string sounds.
It´s also low on cpu and RAM for me and easy to use compared to some other tools.
That all is again a personal thing and i find the huge NOVO main tool so O.K but i LOVE the Intimate Textures and this expansion (but you don´t need the main NOVO here anyway) much more.
It´s also because it goes well with other tools for rhythmic things for me like The Orchestra which is another example of how great a not so large and deeply sampled orchestra/strings can sound with the right engine behind it.
I also got it now for €101 which is a good value for me since i think i will use this often.
It might go on 50% sale in a year or so via Native Instruments (where i bought most of my Gravity and NOVO stuff) but couldn´t wait longer since it´s exact what i like to use right now.

Thank you for commenting, these Novo textures are now on my purchase list. Heavyocity takes part in to the season sales, if I remember correctly, but with no better prices than this launch offer? I have a couple of synths by them.
