Any Soundcloud Pro Users Lost Their Subscriptions?

This seems to be a wide spread problem. Many Soundcloud Pro and Pro Unlimited customers are reporting their accounts no longer provide pro status, such as being able to edit tracks, advanced stats and so on. I only discovered this because I tried to edit a track the other day and it said I had to upgrade. Subscription was paid on April 9, 2018 and yet my account says I have no active subscriptions.

Is anybody else here experiencing the same issue? If so, did you get it resolved? If so, how? I've filled out the form as others have suggested (last night around 11:30 PM) but still have not had a resolution.

I'm not sure how something like this happens.

I also noticed that I lost my Pro subscription this morning. While I was navigating the maze of their help system, it somehow got fixed. Try logging out and logging back in and see if you are OK.

So your subscription page says you have an active subscription? Better check it because I thought mine was fine too.

Full functionality has returned for me but the Subscriptions page says "You currently have no active subscriptions." However, I think that may have always be broken.

Sorry I followed your advice. Now it says up top "Try Pro". At least before it LOOKED like I had a pro account even though nothing was working. Now who KNOWS what hell I'm gonna have to go through.

Actually, I never log out. I am logged in permanently. The only time I ever had to log out was the last time something totally went haywire with Soundcloud and I couldn't access my account at all. In fact, they logged me out. And I had no login credentials on file so had no idea how to access my account (that's on me) so had to have my password reset. Now I have it stored but still, I am logged in 24/7.

Sorry, I am just really frustrated with all this as I am sure hundreds of other customers are as well. I have things I have to get done that I can't do. There is no direct contact email for Soundcloud. No phone number, nothing. Just a support form which, in my case and reported by others, nobody responds to even though it says we'll be contacted.

I sometimes wonder what the hell these people do over there.

So the last thing I need is people telling me "Try this, maybe it'll work." Unless you're sure of a solution (which at this point I'm sure nobody is) speculation can only cause more problems.

Frantz, I'm sorry, but until you or somebody hears something from Soundcloud that specifically says "This is the problem and this is how to fix it" please don't speculate. Fortunately, I was at least able to log back in. But that didn't have to be the case given that, according to Soundcloud, i don't have an active account anymore.

Hopefully, you can all understand my frustration especially when I have a business that almost solely relies on Soundcloud to keep it running.

Hi Wag! Sorry, but I don't understand why you raised this thread if you are only expecting for a solution from Soundcloud? Sometimes Soundcloud itself will ask you to try things in order to fix the mess. Why don't you appreciate the community support instead of blaming them of trying to sabotage you?! Take care! :)

Please read specifically what I posted.

So, there are two parts to my question.

1. Is anybody else experiencing the issue? Trying to get an idea of how widespread this is. I guess misery loves company.

2. If they got it resolved HOW? And not "I think this is how" but specifically, how did it get resolved. When you start guessing that's when you run into problems spreading misinformation.

So no, I'm not specifically waiting for Soundcloud to get back to me. In fact, I have very little confidence that they will get back to me. I was hoping somebody here had the problem, had it fixed and knows EXACTLY how it was fixed. This avoids responses like "Have you tried clearing your cache?" and stuff like that. I don't want to be wasting my time trying a dozen things that have nothing to do with the problem. I want the ACTUAL solution.

I thought I made that clear but obviously I didn't.

The ONLY thing you have made clear is that you are a complete douche. I have never seen anyone in this forum being as ungrateful as you are, and it's not the first time either.

You complain about everything and are threatening to leave the forum every once in a while (but you never do). Why are you still here if you think this forum and most of the members here are complete crap?

Dang, I am a Pro user and I just checked my SoundCloud and it's telling me I'm Basic as well.

Thanks for raising the flag on this- I normally only visit SC when I'm uploading something. Gonna try contacting them via support and Twitter.

I do wish you'd been nicer to Frantz, though. :(
