Not sure if it really counts as an “effect” but I wasn’t sure where to ask about this one:

I am thinking of getting Scaler, but I thought I saw a couple of other similar products, but now I can’t remember their names.

What are some products that are like Scaler (if any)?

Thanks, I hadn't read anything about that one so I will check it out. I think there was another one, but for some reason I can't remember the name of it. I am pretty sure I saw it advertised over on the right side of KVR at some point.

I found the one I had trouble remembering before:

Scaler and Autotonic both look interesting.

Would be great to hear form users of Scaler, Instascale (was Scale Player), Instachord and Autotonic or similar for a comparison review.

Perhaps include even iPad chord progression apps?

Akai VIP offers a nice one built in. I just saw it on sale for a low price here in the sales section. http://www.akaipro.com/support/kb/artic ... ey-control

Tonespace is another nice one that's free. There are others, but it depends on how you plan to use it.

If you have Ableton live you can use their midi effects, which can do a similar job, for free.

Was thinking about getting Scaler but after contact with their customer support I decided not to.
Pigments Presets, Omnisphere Expansions, Dune, Serum, and Thorn Sound Packs. Diva, Zebra, TAL, and Repro Sound Banks. Massive discounts - https://NewLoops.com

I really like Scaler. It is easy to use, inspiring & fun. I've also had very positive interactions with their support.

Obelisk is a MIDI plugin instrument that harmonises input MIDI and outputs it to your synths. It is designed to be a flexible way of experimenting with chords and harmonies. Obelisk's chord picker allows you to pick what harmonies should be applied to each note. As well as this, Obelisk features an optional constraining algorithm that will ensure the harmonies fit your chosen key and scale. WIth resizable GUI and selectable themes; customise each note of the chord and scale; dynamically keyswitch or automate the changing of the chord; etc.

Sorry but Scaler is mainly about chords and chord progression while InstaScale is mainly about playing single note intervals.

InstaChord is closer to Scaler.

My mistake, I was fooled by the name.

In that case InstaChord :hihi:

or

RapidComposer, which is probably a bit overkill!
