MIDI Note message values

I'm pursuing an issue where my phrase imports seem to be playing w/sustain pedal down.
Cannot find such a controller message in the RC compo, or exported midi file.
Tried the exported file in another app, using the same soundfont, and hear it there too.

While looking for controller, I did find this bit. Am chasing whether it causes the issue in SF2 (no one else noted, so...), and will look to the spec to see if it is the preferred implementation.

I have seen it stated that some devices respond to note off velocity, but not in my use...

EDIT: Please consider the above as informational only, this is not what is causing the audio problem. I will post a request for switch to set note off velocity values as zero though!

You are right, for some reason the note off velocity becomes the same as the note on velocity when exporting MIDI.
I was surprised too. I am working on the fix...

Did you make it a switch?

As above, some methods use it.

No, at the moment in the "fixed" version note off velocity is always set to 0.
Internally a note has a note on velocity and a length. Note off velocity is not used within RC.
I know some synths may use note off velocity. Maybe you are right, and a switch is needed.
