the thing is I wonder where he is from, I know that Visage the company FL goes through refuses to do business with certain countries due to the high amount of bogus purchases. If I remember right China is one of the countries (but I'm not completely sure about that). It is possible that he is from China which may explain his difficulty obtaining FL..

The name "jiejie" looks Chinese to me. I'd guess it's pronounced something like "zhyeh zhyeh" (but there are so many dialects and local pronunciations that it's impossible to know for sure). I wouldn't venture a guess at the tones. *blush*

If that's the case and the situation's as you describe, I suppose the only road available would be the low one. Ah well. Wish the world were neat and orderly and sensible! My score on wishes granted isn't so great so far though. :-D
