Hello!

Im long time self learned musician who has spend most of his life recording and making songs at my living room. Nice to join the forums!

One question has been on my mind so long, but decided to ask it now as I have now more experience of different audio interfaces. I have struggled with bad amount of white noise with condenser mics. I have used 3 different kind and all of them have same problem. I also used Focusrite 2i2 and Steinberg UR22 as test from friend, but they all have same whitenoise thing on backround still... My own is Steinberg CI2. I dont really have hiss same problem with dynamic sm57 or sm58, but I do love recording vocals with my A.I.R. Fat boy as it has way better sound for my needs. The problem is, that I have to use quite much gain to be able to hear it.

I also bought TUBE MP preamp to test for cheap and it didnt really change anything. About the same hizz, but with bit different frequencys

But the question! Is this "normal" amount of hiss I should have, or is this something from with my pc or something like that. The PC has been same for 8 year with just tiny bit of updated parts.

A.I.R. Fat Boy ->TUBE -> CI2 -> Reaper ->Reverb and Tiny bit of comp

Guitar is straight to CI2 and uses Bias FX for sound. It doesnt have any hiss at all

The main problem is, that if I want to double or use some heavy comp the hiss is way too audible. If it aint normal, what should I do to make it better? Have tested to turn off all monitors and speaker, but no help

I also get strange noise to speaker (Behringer B2031A) when I play one game. Like very very very high pitch sound, but this doesn't really bother me
