ST2 Free is a great way to sample the full product, good job Squids for putting it up. I like the built in fx, the clean samples and the patches provided are varied and interesting. Would have loved to see another drum kit, piano, string ensemble and an acoustic guitar. (hint, hint!
).One of the highlights for me were the effects. I was able to build a nice guitar amp using 5 stacked fx. I also mangled the 'Oh baby' sample so it became a glitch effect. The possibilities of the fx in ST2 are almost endless. I also used the stretch with the soprano patch, seemed to work well - here's a tip: you must play pure solo legato notes for it to work 100%
All in all, very impressed, it's a quality product which I will add to my studio soon.
