Wow, what a cool tune!

I don't really listen to much glitchy music, although I really enjoy it when I do. Your palette of sounds here is awesome, really cool and unique. I'm liking all of the drum edits and such things you've put in here too.

I guess there are only two critiques that I have (and it's all personal opinion so don't take any of it too seriously):
1) I kinda get the feeling that it starts a little abruptly with the guitars. But then again, I usually like tracks that gradually work up to the main/driving bit, so that's all just personal preference.
2) I'd like to hear the drums a little more upfront, as it seems they get a little bit lost in the mix when it's going full on, but maybe that's what you were going for? Again, just personal preference.

Overall, I think this is an awesome and original tune. I'll definitely be checkin out your stuff more often!

thanks adam - glad you enjoyed it :D

I agree with you - this could use more of an intro, give the build more oomph.

The drums - yeah, this mix is first one out, I'll be doing another mix with fresh ears in a few days, get the drums more kicking and clear where they need to be.

thanks for listening :D

I'm feeling it - the guitar distortion could have been better tho, but thaz a matter of choice. are all those drum lines yours?

Post

hey!

the guitar distortion in this track is my good ol' DOD death metal pedal, post processed in logic with scanner vibrato and some heavy compression. There's alot of other distorted sounds, so I tried to keep that one a little bit tamer :hihi:

the drums - there are two breaks in there that I chopped up and abused, but other than that all the percusssion programming is me. Lot's of edits and tweaks :D

thanks for listening!
