Hi!
I need to find a VST or Synth sound that sounds similar that it sounds in this song, at 0:30.
I'm searching for brass sounds. Are trombone and horn, i guess, but in my Orchestal VST (EWQLSO) sounds too classical. I need modern/cinematographic brass sounds like that anime ost.
Any ideas? Thanks!

It sounds like a filtered synthesized brass to me. Have you listened to VSTs like Roland D50/JV10180 or samples of old analog brass from Oberheims and such?

Have you noticed that the sound is reinforced by a low strings layer ? I think this is a sum of tricks like this thar make it sound modern and massive... I'd try a sum of different brasses + a massive strings patch.
