You can see that esoundz is doing a special group buy on the discontinued Sonic Synth 1 and a bundle with other goodies. This could be the last time you can get it and probably the only time you can get it WITH the all new SampleTank 2 LE (that now will come with all continued ST sound library products... but Sonic Synth 1 and OmniSynth 1 are being discontinued and replaced with version 2's which are different and don't include all of the same sounds as these do, those sounds will be never be available again).
The news here is that the group buy has aleady exceeded 100 people! That means it has gone down in price from $189 (okay, original price for the bundle exceeds $400) and now the price is at $139.
A new change has been made in the group's favor if it is able to reach higher numbers. Maybe it can, maybe it can't. The question is whether more people would benefit from about 3 gigs of sounds and a workstation sound module plug-in to play them for this cheap. It is something that does what hardware workstations that cost 20X as much do. We know that there are people out there who would want it. But will they find out about this in time? The offer to join the group ends by July 31. That is less than a week. This whole thing is driven only by word of mouth.
Anyway, if it breaks 199 people there is a drastic price drop of $30. less and if it breaks 299 people it drops even lower and another library is included.
There's some more incentive for the group. Again, this is just an experiment in using one of KVR's latest trends. So far it seems to be going well. Perhaps this spices things up a bit? We'll see. Good luck!
