OK here is my problem:
I often record what is coming out of FLStudio with Adobe Audition due to Plug-ins that wont automate or simply to record myself messing around, everything seems to go fine, but i notice i am at %100 with FL going and Audition recording, and when i listen to the recordings, they turn out "skippy", or "choppy", or "simply shitty sounding".
Here's whats up hardware wise:
1.33 GHz Processor
512 400Mhz Ram
Asus A7V600 MotherBoard-
-No sound card, just going out the motherboard.
Software wise, i have Asio installed for performance there.
Is there anything i can do to get more CPU power? If not, does anyone reccomend a CPU (or soundcard if that would help) for about $100 or under?

1.33 ghz = you're using an Athlon XP 1500+ (well as long as you have the fsb correct) 
by all means upgrade!
your mobo can handle (from what I can gather) up to the top of the line (well for amd 32bit) XP processor the 3200+ with your ddr400 memory..
depending on how much you want to spend you could get the 3200+ cpu for ~$190 or even the 2600+ (barton core) for ~$95 USD
either is sure to show a significant difference from your clunky 1500+ (I cant imagine I thought I was bad with my 2000+
).. its all in how much you can/arewilling to spend (which looks like $100 from your post - 2600+ will do you good)
the only other thing I can suggest is make sure you are running at 44.1khz or around there.. and not 96khz.. and try increasing your ASIO latency..
