Evolving drum pattern sequencer for tabla like unfolding rhythms

Does anyone know of an evolving drum sequencing plugin or standalone or Ableton plug that can improvise complex midi percussion sequences that evolve and unfold like tabla patterns?

looking for something that can be played live like a percussion sequencer instrument on a touch screen or linked to a touch controller and the properties of the sequence effectively morphed via xy pad

to be more specific about what I mean by evolving/unfolding-obviously the tools used to make this are home grown, but I’d imagine other similar tools have since been built
