Do you guys know it many of the techno/deep house/electronic producers have attended any sort of music education or are they mostly self trained?
I'm thinking of attending some sort of education to develop my producing skills. What would you say of that?
Thanks

Some are self educted and some aren't. If you think formal training will help you then go for it.

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

if you do go the education route, one benefit is seeing how others work and getting to know other people in the same game.

You can get to know some producers, for EDM as well, here on Pensado's Place:

You can pick and choose a lot from descriptions to get stories from those that produced artists you like.
Overall some have solid education background, some start as mixers and eventually start producing etc.
