I'm curious about the first drumkits of the internet. I know at first people just used hardware (TR808) or mpc's with sounds loaded on them but what were the first internet drumkits? I've heard that ACD(audio crack dealers) have been around for awhile but i don't know much more then that there's not much on it anywhere. I was hoping someone who's been in the game longer knows the details. If you have any links it'd be very much appreciated, Thanks for reading.

What qualifies as a drumkit? I would guess that the old Amiga Soundtracker sample disks (ST-01, etc.) from the late '80s would probably include enough drum samples (at 8-bit, 8-11 kHz!) to qualify. I think these were mostly just samples of popular synths and drum machines of the era.

Wow, i think that would be the first... (thank you very much, i'll have to look thru them all) but i'd call this a library, i was kinda wondering what people used in rap during the early days of the daw. Nowadays people like me download them from (https://www.reddit.com/r/Drumkits/) or buy them from certain sites. I heard there was this one guy that'd bring wood planks and other misc stuff, and they'd mic him and turn those into single shots. I didn't know if there was a popular drumkit that all popular producers of the late 90's and early 2000's were using because the drum samples you hear in songs from that era are very distinct. I didn't know if there were certain kits. I mean, like i was saying i heard there was a guy that'd make them from weird objects, and i know people still were using mpc's heavily, and I even heard that people would go on craigslist, or ebay and buy disc with drum samples on them. Anyways, thanks for the response.
