This MAY be the wrong forum since, as far as I know, u-he has never really done anything with samples.

I believe you, and you can search the board, but none of U-he's product line is sample driven.flying wrote: I meant that

I think Sascha will be working on u-he teatowel physical modelling tech but modelling teatowels is super CPU & DSP intensive so don't expect that anytime soon. However Urs or Sascha might post a pic of themselves physically modelling a teatowel or two if you ask them nicely.

Well, for a start, what do you think this forum is for?
This is the u-he subforum. u-he is a software company based out of Berlin which makes synthesizer and effect software. It doesn't make drums, make samples of any kind, or use tea-towels for anything besides, presumably, drying off dishes.

I never understood how the British drink tea using towels. Do they dip the towel in the pot, then wring the hot tea out into their mouths?
FWIW, though, my KVR DC entry for this year is a drum kit muted with generous quantities of cloth kitchen towels, such as might be used for drying dishes or wiping tables. They've never been used to drink tea, as I am not weird, but the heavily muted drums sound super-dead and we recorded them with a 60s Glyn Johns mic setup, plus a few extra mics in front of the kit.
