Do you have that kind of money sitting around (I'd advise against getting into debt)?
Is there something else you could do with that money that would further your skill as a producer?
Have you gotten everything you can from free/cheap production resources?
What are the specific areas you expect it to help you with (recording, mixing, sound design, songwriting, people skills, industry connections)?
What are your professional goals - being a songwriter/artist, mixer, remixer, mastering engineer, etc?
Not advising against it if you think it will move you forward, just suggesting a critical approach.
