I tried updating the Dashboard but due to a system crash (I foolishly turned on the seaboard in the middle of installing the update), I had to start over. As it is, my seaboard can't connect to the Dashboard at all. I can't get rid of the splash screen so It's not possible for me acessing the Dashboard at all (with USB cable). It stalls at the screen since the Seaboard isn't registering at all. I can't use it as a general midi controller in my DAW either
The power button flashes quickly (purple and green, as far as I can see) and the battery has been charged. When turning off the seaboard it shuts down completely, and doesn't run on the battery, like it did earlier.
I've tried reinstalling he dashboard and it's fully updated. Switching usb cable / port didn't help either.
I'm on Windows 10 with an Intel Core i7-4790 CPU - 32 GM RAM/512 GB SSD
Everything worked perfectly last night before the computer crashed. I'm really drawing a blank here. Can you help me out?
Thanks
(this has been submitted to ROLI support as well, but I figured some may know about it here as too)

Problems solved. it required a manual reset of the Seaboard firmware. Something you cannot do with the Dashboard. It isn't described in the manual either but Roli support were quick to react.

Sorry but haven't been logged in for a very long time, so I didn't see this. Here's a copy/paste of what Roli mailed me back then. Hope it works out for you (if you haven't solved the issue already)killmaster wrote: Sun Feb 02, 2025 7:51 pmDo you remember how you did it? How to reset the firmware (Windows)
Download the latest firmware version attached to this email.
Download and install MIDIOX, a free application that will allow us to push files to the RISE
Connect the RISE to your computer by USB and – while holding both octave shift buttons – switch it on
Launch MIDIOX
In MIDIOX, click Options ➝ MIDI Devices
Under 'MIDI Outputs' select the Seaboard RISE
Click OK
Click Actions ➝ Send ➝ SysEx File
A window will open. Navigate to the RISE latest firmware version file and click open
The update will only take 20-30 seconds and you'll see a screen with some text on it when it is complete. Make sure not to touch the RISE until the process has fully completed.
Restart the RISE
