This is an easy question for y'all CuBase pro users

I have a shitty built-in sound card (comes up with an Asrock motherboard), I guess it's not good enough to record music (mainly guitar and bass)...

What should I buy, considering the fact that I have a low budget?

The new range of EMU cards are great value for money. Then there's Terratec and M-Audio stuff.

I bought the Audigy 2 that came with the Dell Dimension 4600, and it has no inputs. I would recommened getting a whole different external recording device, such as what I plan to get: the Lexicon Omega Desktop Studio.

not a cubase user here, so that question is a bit difficult

just use the search option for "soundcard" in the hardware forum. there's a pissload of threads on this similar question.
