Well the English Samplitude site has finally been updated and Samplitude 8 looks pretty good but pricey..as usual...

September release confirmed.

Full feature overview...herehttp://www.samplitude.com/index.htm

There appears to be a much cheaper 2 track version for mastering as well...

Samplitude V8 Master

1.ASIO | VST plug-in support
2.automatic latency compensation
3.batch processing
4.mastering effects for objects and busses 8)
5.tube amp simulation
6.8 plugins per insert
7.Two Stereo tracks
8.Offline room simulator
9.Two Submix / AUX busses

It does not appear to have a dither function but if it supports 24bit files then something like Ozone which can dither would be fine... no mention of pricing for this but it should be considerably cheaper than the other magix products.

Totally out of my price range but what an absolutely beautiful programme!

I've got a lot of time for Magix. Their entry level stuff is great! I've spent hours in front of Music Studio.

:)

I agree their stuff is very good. The V8 master looks like a straight mastering application...that could be even cheaper than Music Studio which I bought for £50.
