Where does outlook express store your address book?

I found mine doing a search for "XP username" in my case, "WilliamK" and the extention = "WAB".

EG: williamk.wab

Hope that helps.

Hmmm It's usually been .pst file for your mail and .pab for your address book. PAB = Personal Address Book.

If you're using 2K/XP, it is stored under your user profile folder in Documents and Settings. Here is the path:

C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book

This is assuming of course that you store your Documents and Settings folder on the C: drive. Also, make sure that in the 'Folder Options' control panel, you have enabled "Show hidden files and folders", otherwise the Application Data folder will be hidden from view. The Address Book files have a .WAB extension.

This only applies if you are using Microsoft Outlook. It uses a different address book and mail database system than Outlook Express.

Do a search for *.wab in your entire drive, where windows is installed.

Yes...Tronam is correct.

I did find all outlook express address book data in the wab file.
If you open the wab file using wordpad...scroll down slowly and you`ll see all your addresses.
