-= Black Rooster Audio is excited to present the Edelweiss‘72 =-

A highly dynamic mixing toolchain, that allows surgical modifications to any signal or mix that might sound limply, needs subtle tweaking or a decent finish.

Where in the input stage you are able to expand the signal, that might be stressed by over-compression or needs a wider dynamic range, you can EQ your signals in 5 static bands, with linear-phase filters in regular stereo or M/S mode. A final compression/limiting stage will finish the overall process with a concentration of density made up with (auto) gain-stages at the end of each section.

We focussed on a variety of process-friendly bypass and soloing options, as well as proper K- and peak, balance and correlation metering in order to concede decent comparison workflows.

FEATURES

LINEAR PHASE M/S - EQ
Our linear-phase approach for the EQ section of the plugin allows spotless control of the selected band/shelf, without any influence on the substantial energy-flow of the signal, that otherwise might cause noticeable phase incoherence and unwanted accentuation or attenuation at the band edges.

SSE2 OPTIMIZED CODE
DSP operations are pipe-lined using the SSE2 instruction set. This ensures highest possible performance operation despite very complex computations.

HIGHDPI / RETINA SUPPORT
All our plug-Ins support high pixel density on Mac OSX and Windows to bring you the most enjoyable user experience on high DPI displays. Please refer to your manual to find whether your DAW is HighDPI capable if you‘re working on Windows.

All our plugins can be tested within an individual 14-day trial period. We are very much looking forward to this release and hope you will enjoy this tool as much as we do.

Edelweiss`72 is available as AAX/VST/Audio Units plugin as an INTRO OFFER OF $129 (regular $179).

Will there be a better deal for those that own all or a number of BRA products?

Any chance you can add a dark UI theme that we can switch to from the cog? That and the GR meters are a little hard to read. But so far it sounds great, will spend more time testing later

129 intro? Better be good!

As an All Bundle owner, I was disappointed to login to my account to buy Edelweiss and see no reduction from the $129 intro price when adding to the cart. Perhaps BRA hasn't yet emailed a loyalty code to All Bundle owners to knock it down a bit??

I don't care how good your plugins are, if your company can't even comply with current EU laws eventhough you are obliged to - you can keep them to yourself.

Whoever has no problem with NFR as you buy - throw your money at them, please.

I have told you already in several emails, we are working on a solution with implementing a new licensing system, to make this technically possible. It is again not a question of yes/no, but a question of time.

Something a bit odd happens in Logic. When you bypass all the individual modules and then turn on and off the plugin using the Logic on/off switch you notice a small but noticeable low end bump when Edelweiss is engaged. When you do the same thing using the Edelweiss power button this doesn't occur. Just wondering why this could be??

Also what do the german preset names mean in english?? More presets would also be helpful.
