Any love for Samples From Mars?

They're really good. I have quite a few of their libraries and I use their drums extensively.
Their 808, for example, is out of this world - supplied in all known formats and my favorite is the complete integration of the library with my Push 2.
but they offer much, much more than your typical 808. Many hot roded drum machines, obscure hard to find stuff, synthesized drums, you name it.
Here's some cool links:

Great stuff, I have a number of his drum libraries as I'm sure many around here do as well,
since he tends to practically give them away during sales. Pretty much an insta-buy for
me when hes got something new. Definitely worth supporting.
Also one of the best company names in audio samples imho...

Also, Mr. Mars is a very nice and passionate guy. He even does new versions of his older sample packs with free upgrades.

Has someone received a Black Friday promo code mail from them? I‘ve heard there was one but unfortunately I didn‘t receive anything despite having bought the big bundle last year (and yes, I‘ve checked my spam folder)...

I get their emails regularly so they are not filtered out and have not received any offers
either. Perhaps they are staggering the notices to avoid swamping their download servers.
Hopefully...

Yep they have an insane deal, as well as a new browser for the PC. [EDIT: oops - links/codes removed, and apologies to Mars. Register for the mailing list!]

Holy Cow, I just bought the whole lot. I'm mostly interested in the old drum machines and 9$ for everything is pretty effin amazing

Wow, apparently they were offering everything for $9 at some point!
Anyway, everything is now $39. I already have Wave Alchemy Revolution, which has a ton of classic drum machines, so I feel pretty covered in that area. I'm wondering if this is worth it in addition to that. I know they have more than just drum machines, but those seem to be the bulk of what they have.

Wave Alchemy Revolution is top-notch, but resource heavy.
It's worth getting the extra samples (from Samples from Mars) so you can use them in your sampler of choice: TAL, DirectWave, Kontakt, whatever...
It took me a whole week to get Revolution set up on my new system. It's not a plug and play thing in my experience. I'm still going to buy Evolution though. Wave Alchemy make great stuff but because of the level of detail and medium needed to run it (Kontakt), it's not so immediate, let's say.
The other side of that of course, is the fact you will need to load any new samples you choose to use (from Samples from Mars) in to your sampler of choice. Swings and roundabouts. The WA stuff is encrypted so you can't use it anywhere else (iirc), but the other (Samples from Mars) is raw sample data, so you can use them wherever you like (even drag and drop in to your Cubase just like old style Drum and Bass).
