Hi Team-
Looking to find some VST's that best suit transitions on instrumentals.
Right now I am doing the basics... risers/falls/sweeps. I have played around with filter and eq automatons and that is great and all but. Is ther a nice VST to automate this stuff with presets?
Even more in detail, I am trying to attack my intro's/outro's without putting so much time into it.
Thanks!

I don't know of any VST's that can automate other VST's or DAW parameters. Different DAWs handle automation differently however. It might just be that you don't like the way your current DAW handles automation. Also, some effects have LFO's and envelope followers that you can use instead of drawing in automation curves manually.
Automation is fiddly and takes time, but it's worth it. It's amazing what a bit of creative automation can do to create a sense of movement and breathe life into a stale track.

There's an AIR plugin "The Riser" which is designed specifically for making risers and other slow whooshy things. It's ok and has a decent range of presets.
But I'd much rather hear intros/outros/transitions handled by working on the actual musical composition. They shouldn't be an afterthought; so much of music is about creating and resolving tension.

Air The Riser
Sches Tantra
Any synth that has envelopes with snap and tempo sync them to for example 8 bar. Serum, Diversion and Dune 2 come to my mind first.. Hook that envelope to filter, pitch, lfo speed etc etc and you can save your risers as presets.
Simple demonstration here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2iwotgUL7k&t=3s

Thanks all-
Let me rephrase:
Not looking for the VST to automate the parameters of the DAW. I am looking to insert a VST into the mix that can modify the signal in a tempo synced form.
The best example I have is FL Studio Love Philter Plugin.
Just looking for alternatives...

Best Alternative is Cableguys Shaperbox... which would be a combination of a full Fruity Love philter and Grossbeat...streetblaze804 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2018 9:06 pm Thanks all-

Has great presets for mangling audio, combined stutter and glitch fx...all tempo synced...
Download the demo and have a go with the presets of the "Mixed" categories, which are presets that combine different shapers...
EDIT: ... and of course plugins like izotpe´s stutter edit, which is great for transitions too
