Ableton live to cubase

I am trying to get ableton 4 demo to control a cubase project. IE, basically act as a midi sequencer for the vsts running in cubase.

The reason I want to do this is because I can't use halion in ableton. Halion being my sampler of choice.

Can anybody let me know whether this is possible? You would not believe how much I have tried to get this to work.

I have tried using ableton as a master and a slave routing, in master it does not give the option cubase like the manual shows Reason in the midi to: part.

In slave mode it only gives me the option to send the midi to other midi tracks native in ableton. IE, when you first start a performance there is midi-3 and midi-4. The only option I have in midi to: midi-4 for midi-3 and midi-3 for midi-4.

Anyway, if any of you have cracked the code.. by all means. Reveal..

As for why Cubase doesn't show up in the MIDI tos in Live,Cubase only works as a ReWire master...
