Ableton Live 10 Sampler quick question

I rarely ever use the Sampler built into Ableton, but im testing it out for a friends guitar part and had a real quick question:

I placed a cut of his playing into the Sampler and it defaults to C3 and it plays fine, but when i play other notes, it not only pitches down/up like it should, but it slows/speeds it down/up as well.

Is there a setting i might be missing to keep the pitch relevant to the key i hit with it playing properly?

I think you should turn off warp mode, either in preferences or sampler itself.
