I think that Waves is a company that is still in business.
And if you are a decent customer, and meet them half-way...i.e. don't be some kinda asshole...
you will be cool with Waves Incorporated.
Come on, guys!

No, you did it the wrong way around - any text modifiers need to be within the quoting brackets, around those bits of text you want to modify.Grizzellda wrote: ↑Thu Nov 29, 2018 9:37 am
hey, is anyone else having issues with italics and quotes in the forum software? It is not working well for me, Windows 7, over here.

"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.

Thanx, jens, but it has been working well for me since I joined KVR...really well.
And that is why I mentioned it. I have been doing it right, for sure.

Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

You turn the 'Mix' dial down to the lowest setting for each effect for them to be 'off'/'dry'

This synth is likely huge...

Sure but that doesn't turn the FX Off, just changes the mix level.

No clicks and pops here on my 2010 middle of the range PC running win10.
Maybe you have background processes taxing on your CPU?

Bedroom and kitchen producers have the right to complain as Waves target them in their advertising Just check Flow Motion promo video: boring old sounds that our grandparents tweaked decades ago. Anyone who know what Cut Off knob do can tweak it on any synth including free plugins. For newbies it may sound fresh but for professionals it's doesn't.
For those complaining about GUI here is one softsynth which makes you happy:
You can make a petition (or lawsuit) to plugin developers to create GUI like this only
About waveshell: what's the problem? You don't have plugin manager where you can select what plugins you want to see in any order / folder structure you want?
