Is there a way of assigning midi / audio clips / tracks to drum / controller pad devices in Waveform 9, similar to FL Studio 20's performance mode? I am specifically thinking of being able to assign trigger types (one shot, wait to repeat until clip finishes, retrigger, hold and stop, etc.) to a drum mpd or controller pad device's individual pads (such as a launchpad) or to a midi keyboard controller's pads where the keyboard has separate assignable zone channels for keys and pads?

I'm not aware of any way in the W9 track view to trigger clips or tracks from a controller. It's a linear DAW (arrangement timeline) without a session or performance mode. But by using a plugin instrument to play the samples back, such as the new multi-sampler that comes with Waveform 9, you could assign the MIDI notes to samples in that and trigger them from a controller.
Windows 10 and too many plugins
