UVI Falcon custom sample drop issues?

Anyone out there using UVI Falcon to put together sample sets? With Falcon, you can build an instrument by dragging and dropping multiple samples onto Falcon's interface, and by pressing the alt/option key while doing so, a dialog box pops up which gives you various options for dropping the samples.

The dialog box allows you to choose how the samples are organized - by note name, midi note name, velocity, black key, white key, round robin, etc.

The issue I'm having is that the dialog box rarely appears for me when I'm dragging a large number of samples over. Or it will work pretty well for a few drops, then just stop appearing altogether. And I can never do large sets of samples - I've got to limit it to 150-200 or so. So, a job that should take a few minutes just turns into a never-ending task.

The folks at UVI say they've never experienced this, and have no problem using the custom drop for thousands of samples at a time. (Always the words I dread hearing, "Gee! We've never seen THIS before!")

So, just wondering if anyone has ever seen the same thing!
