This is my short list:

Audulus 4. VST and can host VST’s and much more. I am afraid that they will not develop the Windows version to the fullest. http://audulus.com/

Architect. This will be a great midi tool. viewtopic.php?f=141&t=517104

Synthmaster 3. Mid 2019 release? https://www.kv331audio.com/

ARA2 for Melodyne in Reaper and Cubase. It will be tougher now to select my main DAW.

Sales to feed my GAS! I need huge discounts to activate my GAS-Response.

I can add three more:

Soundtheory GULLFOSS computational auditory perception EQ. Hope the quality is very high.

HG Sounds Group buy $19.99. Will join the group buy shortly. The Cycling Waveforms synth looks promising.

I wish to stop chasing the latest gear, and just make music instead.

My wish is for REAPER 6 to arrive this year.

In the beginning REAPER was kind of famous for being updated every couple of days. Now, it seems one REAPER update takes a month. What the fornication!!!??? Has Justin become a professional slacker?

Justin, my hero, coz like seemingly contrary to the Bob Dylan lyrics "it don't matter who you are, you gonna have to serve somebody" or something like that... Justin gots 80 million bucks or more (I'm just guessing) and is his own boss.

At this REAPER update rate, it would be a miracle if REAPER 6 arrives in 2020 and, aw shucks, I am not Duncan McLeod. Hey, is Sean Connery still alive?

I saw them in 1989 for the 'Steel Wheelchair' tour. This must be the 'Hyperbaric Chamber' tour.

Once in the Reaper Forum I stated that I am looking forward to Reaper 6 release and was attacked by one on the gurus saying the version numbers are meaningless as new features are constantly added to the current version. Reaper whole number updates do add more new functionality than the .X updates do.

Post

Software:
- Madrona Labs Sumu
- Valhalla delay
- Plogue: maybe two Chipsounds releases?
- updates to Cadmium

Hardware:
- TXb soon I hope, and in enough numbers that I can grab one before they're sold out
- CVilization
- Tendrils right-angle 3.5mm to right-angle 1/4" cables
- Monome Crow ?
- I kind of don't want too much other temptation.
- but a Euro version of Fairfield Circuitry Shallow Water? hmmm.

Music releases:
- more Nathan Moody
- more Caterina Barbieri, hopefully along the lines of Patterns of Consciousness
- more Belief Defect
- more Starthief :D I think I'll be submitting stuff to labels finally.
- I expect something new to blow me away

Not always. Notation mode was a .X update. So was spectral peaks. Both huge features IMO.

The big version numbers are more of an "okay, it's been a couple years, time to pay us another $60/$225, and also here's a new badass default theme." (obviously it's way more than just that, but my point still stands) :)

BTW this is not an attack, just my opinion :D

There are new pre-release builds at least once a week. They're definitely not slacking. Sometimes they come out every other day.

For some odd reason while reading this thread I suddenly became curious what it would be like if Emily Haines did an in-person ASMR session at my house.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

On a more serious note I would like to see Bandlab fix/update some of the older Cakewalk plugins.
