Better off to sell music cdrs or no worries?

Hey guys merry xmas!

I was looking through my big cd collection and see many many music demo cdrs from bands/artists. Some are also personalized but lately im thinking that cdrs dont live through years like factory pressed cds?

Anyone knows how reliable those are?
I got some cdrs which are 15 years old already and some maybe even older. I sold off all my tapes which was hard as a collector but knowing these were unreliable in quality i chose the money before they would be worth nothing moneywise.
