Hello!

Can (or could if it’s not possible) crusher-x has an envelope follower mode as a modulation source? That would open up even more creative grain manipulations and weirdness

What do you think? (or if there's a way and I haven't figured out, please let me know!)

Yes, very interesting idea! You may could simulate it if you map in your host an external envelope follower towards e.g. the PMfield parameter. But we will definitive consider this feature idea for a future version!
