Surprised I couldn't find any discussion on this at KVR. Announcements yesterday from Orchestral Tools:
A new sample player that can merge mic positions to save on resources, among other things:
An integrated shop, where you can buy individual instruments from a collection, or conversely deals on bundles where you already have a component:
A new brass library from Junkie XL
LA Songwriter Instruments
and an interesting-looking free ensemble library called Layers to show off the new player
No release dates yet, but looks like the Brass library at least will be later in the year, with presumably the player being a little sooner. There's more on the player here, from the launch event at Paramount studios yesterday:
New Orchestral Tools player, Junkie XL library etc

Impressive developments, especially the roll your own legato and that interface.
and the articulation interface. As they have it now, you can press multiple keyswitches and morph; up to four in that interface, via X and Y controllers.
They've come a long way since [seems like] 5 yrs ago when they had a half-assed slots paradigm borrowed from VSL, which was buggy at least at first.
Some definite changes in their philosophy/culture since then, I remember seeing someone there [discussing it in a youtube or something] actually state a preference for loading an .nki for each articulation then, like it was 2002.

It does look like big changes, with their own sampler and all that. I'm always interested in these kinds of playability-improving developments, and also small studio strings for pop music.
