Is it just me or are Studio One and NI Kontakt having problems

Kontakt crashes a lot in S1 these days. Just Kontakt, nothing else. Happens when using snapshots or loading, or quick fiddly operations.

Dunno why. I have a 32gb ram reasonable machine.

That's problem 1.

Problem 2 is that Kontakt is almost too tiny too read on my 3k monitor, and it won't expand any bigger.

S1's gui expander cuts half of the screen off, although it works fine with every other plug.

Problem 3: NI controllers v2 don't work in S1. Different protocols.

As much as Kontakt has some great sounds I'm starting to go off it

Ive had bunch of kontakt crashes in logic recently. Theres a guide over at NI that might help solve it.

Huh. I see that with fair frequency, Kontakt or another plugin which is too small on the higher resolution monitor.
I have a 4K, 21.5" display connected to my MBP. It's accordingly larger, everything is. I have poor eyesight so unless I have the screen right in my face I want to look at the larger screen. I use the recommended [default] setting, there was no joy to experimenting with it. Cubendo and VE Pro windows are smaller when I move off of the desk where the big monitor lives which is a bit annoying.

It's stable in VE Pro, I use a lot of Kontakt typically. It's literally never the cause of a crash currently. That all would amount to a real drag for me, for sure.

Thanks for the advice.

I went over to NI and saw how to delete a bad chunk in my registry.

Seems okay now
