Hi,

I´m sorry if I post this in the wrong forum, but I have to admit that I´m totally at loss as to where I should post my question, but since it concerns the Tx16wx, I thought the sampler forum was ok!

I have used the Tx16wx for many years now and think it´s super, and I´ve been very happy with it!

Today It did not respond anymore to my midi piano. I have the same setup as I always had, and all my other vsti:s works normally.

What happens is that the Tx16wx refuses to load my samples, and if it loads my samples it doesn´t respond when I press the keys on my midi piano. I can see my samples being loaded in Tx16wx, and I can also listen to the samples if I press the piano roll in Tx16wx, but no response when I press my keys on the midi piano.

Some midi setup must have changed somehow in the Tx16wx, since all my other vsti:s are still functioning!

If there is anybody who can help me sorting this out, I would appreciate it very much!

hi, what is the DAW you are using?

I get this sort of thing happening in Cubase sometimes - it's a cubase thing and if you can play the VST via the built in keyboard then the chances is that this is some MIDI routing issue.

ok, so some further thoughts.

Is this happening in all projects where you have the VST? If not, try removing the VST from the track and replacing it with another - does that work? If not it's something wrong with the track settings in the host.

If it's happening in all instances of the VST then you need to check to make sure that the VST is "listening" to the same MIDI channel the track is sending. With some software which allows multiple parts, the first part responds to channel 1, the second to channel 2. If you have removed part 1 it maybe the remaining part is still set to recieve channel 2 so it will be silent.

I would of posted this in the Instruments forum because that's what it is. But anyway since I'm here I been asking to ask since this can load Es24 libraries the Logic sampler, can you also load ES24 libs into it on the PC version? I'm asking because some of the sample packs I downloaded have ES presets but since I don't have Logic...asking for a friend.

Yes, you can load EXS24 libraries in the PC version of Tx16wx
