You need to qualify that because there are State-Variable Filters that only provide discrete states, not all the bits in between. e.g. The standard (really nice) filter in SynthEdit is a State-Variable Filter but it only offers LP, BP, HP and Notch (Band Reject) states. The SEM filter is pretty unique in the way you can sweep from one through another to the next kind of thing so you need to qualify which SVF you are talking about (obviously not here, we get it from context, but more generally).
Anyhoo, I tried out Syntronik this morning and I'm a little underwhelmed. You don't get a lot of presets in the free version but what you do get sounds way too samey. Even at 69 euros it doesn't seem like a good buy.
