No go on my System Link question ..:(..try this one ???

OK, I guess no-one seems to be able to get my System Link working , so how about this for another question...this one should be easy ... probably just me being stupid!!
I can get the master Cubase SX2 machine to sync up to the slave machine, but it will only start it and stop it .... the slave will not follow tempo track or even run at different tempo from the default. It just starts and stops, and will only run at 120 BPM.
Yeah I know I am being stupid somewhere , but I just cant figure out where!!
