more of a house tune to me, reminded me of times when people used to go raving :) I can imagine this as an early 90s video with colour cycling and fractal zooms

Production sounds spot on though

By the way this wasnt meant to be in any way negative, its just that as you know, music is a powerful tool for bringing memories to the forefront - and good memories they are too :D

I really like it and am looking forward to the finished track. Good orchestration and sound selection. It really gives me a deep house mood.

I'm going to start watching this thread, so if you could, please post to this thread (in addition to any other ones) when you have an updated version.

Thanks,
Brian

New version, link at top of thread.

I tried out DiscoDSP ThrillMe for the first time, it certainly seemsto add something, but i'm no expert and ears are tired, so tell me if it sounds dodgy!

I suspect the bass needs to sit back a bit, and some EQ on the drums/perciussion perhaps.

I'd suggest try another open hihat here quincy, this one seems to fall out of place with the rest of the hats somehow. The organish pad could use some extra subtle lfo to make it more organic and a bit more fading in volume on that too.

I loved that melody that springs around 1.30

This is becoming a great great track man, keep working on this. Sounding pretty darn good here allready :D
