Can anyone please provide some simple to follow instructions on how to map Midi Controller input through Ableton 10 to Helix. I have been struggling to get to grips with it.
I am using an AKAI MPK261 controller.
Thanks y'all

Did you want to control everything or just tweak a few parameters?
You could put Helix in an instrument rack and configure mactos to adjust parameters.

Just to tweak a few parameters although, i would be intrigued to try the instrument rack idea as well if you would not mind explaining both approaches. Many thanks for your help.

Just tried using an instrument rack and the same constraint appears, Audjoo Helix appears not to publish Midi controller inputs in the same way as many other VSTs I have tried, They have to be set up in the CC Learn section and then assigned through the modulation matrix. I can get none of this to work.
So far I have tried setting CC Learn A to 22 which I believe is a controller encoder knob on my AKAI
Assigned CC-A to some parameter in the modulation matrix
Hey presto - nothing!
I am obviously missing something and can find no instruction online or much useful in the manual.
Any help appreciated

With a VST in an instrument rack, you're going to map VST parameters to macro controls, and control the macro controls with MIDI CCs in Ableton. So:
instrument macro controls -> Helix VST parameters.
To map Helix VST parameters, you'll first want to select the VST device (Helix) inside of the rack, then click the Configure button. See: https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/worki ... igure-mode
Essentially once the configure button is toggled on, you'll open Helix (wrench button in Ableton), and click around on the parameters you want to control. You'll see little sliders appear on the VST device with the VST parameter name.
The click Configure again to exit that mode. Now you can map macro controls in the rack by clicking the "Map" button, and selecting the relevant parameter slider in the VST device.
Section 18.7 here: https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/instr ... ect-racks/ explains how this works, and this section: https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/midi- ... ng-browser explains how to map macros to MIDI CCs.
