Okidoki... Herewith my KVR Southport CD submission preview.

Bit of a Motown 70s B Movie flavour with some hard driving funk elements... Topaz demanded to play bass on this and Glooper is busy on the wah wah guitar.

Any comments people? :D

Music with dinner is an insult both to the cook and the violinist.

A gold star to anyone who can name the "chord with no name"! 8) it's at 3:31.

I like this stuff way too much. Maybe I was supposed to be a TV detective... or a porn star.

The bass line on this one makes the song for me, but all three of you, damn fine job.

Sounds pretty much like a C#7sus4.

@ griels: Thanks for the offer - will have a go at it.
Damn many chords in there...
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Hehe, thanks Richie... We just need some Isaac Hayes style vocals to top it off now :D

And yes, big respect to Topaz.. Some great improvisations there on some very difficult chords.

Same for Glooper, well done for getting it in only three takes! Excellent stuff. :D

Cheers for helping out Sascha, can't wait to hear what you come up with. :D

Hi Sascha ;)

do you have a semi accoustic ? this would sound sweet with some Eric Gale style solo at the end.

Greeels is the man......err no.

Hmm, rhythm guitar sounds a bit low to me, can't really hear it in the big string sections. Bit too much reverb all over too I reckon, other than that, nice job.

Hmm, could be... I already whacked down the reverb channel a fair bit.. Rhythm guitar, yes I agree... Want to get this as 'crisp' as I can.

Just a note to say I updated the link with a LAME codec encoded version instead of Fraunhofer... Sounds much clearer in my opinion.

Also I wanted an excuse to bump this thread up.

Can't remember the exact notes of the piano now, and I'm at work so can't check... But I can remember the shape of the chord I played!

Code: Select all

  E ------3---
  B ------1---
  G ------2---
  D ------1---
  A ------x---
  E ------x---
but slide up to ... err.. I think the 6th fret, but not sure... it's a diminished with a the high string up a fret,

I have no idea what it's called!...:)
