OK, decided to ditch System Link no-one even replies to thaose questions!!:) , so how about this for another question...this one should be easy ... probably just me being stupid!!
Using midi, I can get the master Cubase SX2 machine to sync up to the slave machine, but it will only start it and stop it .... the slave will not follow tempo track or even run at different tempo from the default. It just starts and stops, and will only run at 120 BPM.
Yeah I know I am being stupid somewhere , but I just cant figure out where!!

Have you tried FX-Teleport?
Yes I did get that and try it.
It did seem to work quite well when I was just trying to use one VSTi, but as soon as I tried to play more than one, especially a polyphonic VSTi, it seized up.
I guess it is fine as long as you dont want to send too much down the line!!:(
I was able to get two monophonic synths running, but no more than that.
