Anyone "deep sampling" synths for Kontakt the way 8dio does for Prophet X?

Have a listen at the new sample library add-ons of classic synths by 8dio for the Sequential Prophet X.
- OBX, https://8dio.com/instrument/sequential- ... add-4-obx/
- ARP 2600, https://8dio.com/instrument/sequential- ... -on-a2600/
- Prophet 5, https://8dio.com/instrument/prophet-5-add-on/

They sound good to be a sample libraries and -- IMHO -- better than any VST-synth-emulations I´ve heard of the OBX and Prophet 5.

Unfortunately these 8dio sample libraries are not released in Kontakt format, as they are making some use of proprietary functionality in the Prophet X, analog filters, etc.

But -- still -- how come there are nobody making great sample libraries for synths like these (ie the OBX, Prophet 5, Arp 2600 etc)?

Shouldn´t it be possible to make almost as good synth sample libraries for Kontakt? Perphaps the DSI analog filters etc have an edge compared to what is possible for Kontakt, but what about the "deep sampling" thing? What does that mean really?

(Maybe some controversial statements in my post here, but those are just my opinions anyway. No offense.)

Do you know Samples From Mars? They do lots of this stuff.

I'd wait for a big sale, though, if you are interested. These seem to happen once a year now (Black Friday? I forget when exactly) and it's an extreme discount. I picked up the entire catalogue for 99% off or something like that - $40 I think - and it's very good.

Other sample libraries are available.

I will say that sampling synths (to get a reproduction) only really works for specific sounds, though. You can sample oscillators no problem, but it's not easy to capture a filter, or modulations that are particular to a piece of hardware - only examples that point to it.

I haven´t seen Samples of Mars before, thanks for the tip!
