Mabye...more expensive on that end however.
I’m not a melodyne expert...
Ima fire up my old windows PC and just download the acid demo to see how good it is...

Accusonus has a plugin called "Regroover" that has been out for a while now. It does the exact same thing, as a matter of fact, it does it better, and it can be loaded in to any DAW as a plugin.

Glad it’s there I suppose but it’s hardly groundbreaking.
Can it like extract all the stems like vocals? That chopping up hasn't changed since acid 3 , maybe 4 can't remember .

I dunno, I think it's kinda neat. At least I suppose they're trying something to make ACID more attractive and give it a reason to exist again.
I'm a bit bummed that ARA 2 seems to have not made the launch; they were touting that as one of the new features right up until they released it. Still, it may come later; they did manage to add it to Sound Forge, and they did eventually deliver on their promise for VST 3 support in ACID 8.
ACID Pro Next does seem a little expensive though.

Not really. Melodyne can sometimes be used to seperate vocals (with it's polyphonic detection) but it is a very hands on thing (picking out notes) and requires the vocal to be all by itself on the melody line. Izotope RX7 can do this though. Sometimes it works lol.
